Region Ten - is the local community service board providing recovery programs for adults.
On Our Own - provides mutual support, self-help, advocacy, education, information and referral services for individuals who acknowledge having significant problems in their lives due to mental illness and who are seeking to take responsibility for their own growth and recovery while supporting each other. We actively advocate for positive change within the traditional mental health system.
Partner For Mental Health - Whether your mental health is strong and you’re simply
looking for information on how to maintain it, or if you, or someone you care about, is facing a diagnosis of a serious mental illness, Partner for Mental Health has something to offer you.
Job Guide for People with Mental Health Conditions - For those diagnosed with mental health disorders, employment can be an essential part of ongoing recovery. As with all professionals, people with mental health challenges can find purpose, productivity and consistency in a good job.
Vocal purpose is to create a climate in Virginia where peers are empowered to understand and find their own recovery through programs that achieve: a) personal transformation, b) community transformation, and c) systems transformation.

It's resources and updated information make checking this website well worthwhile.
NAMI Walks In 2015 NAMI Virginia, through the coordinated support of our network of affiliates and community volunteers, served over 23,000 individuals and families with mental health support and education programs across the Commonwealth. Our Walk funds allow NAMI to continue to meet the need in local communities throughout Virginia at no cost to participants. Your support would be an investment in the future!
